Reinforced Y-bar, also called rebar, or deformed bar, is a steel bar. The Y-bar has a patterned surface to enable a stronger bond with concrete. The tensile strength of structures increases with the use of Rebars.
To reduce the weak tension properties of concrete Reinforced Y-bar is used together with concrete. Reinforcing Rebar carries the tensile load and holds the concrete in compression, thus reinforcing it.
