A high solids bitumen paint that is ideal for coating of chassis and under carriages of vehicles and trailers. For direct application to any clean surface where a low cost protective coating is required. May be used for sealing absorbent surfaces such as fibre cement.
| PRODUCT BENEFITS: | Impervious to moisture and chemicals. Low cost. Acceptable sheen finish. |
| SURFACE PREPARATION: | No elaborate surface preparation necessary. Surface must be clean and dry. Apply 2 coats for new work, depending on severity of conditions. Do not overwork the brush on recoating as the coating is easily re-dissolved. For general maintenance or to seal absorbent surfaces, apply 1 coat. |
| PRECAUTIONS: | Do not expose to direct sunlight. Top coating with decorative coatings will result in “bleeding” of the bitumen. Not resistant to solvents. |
| APPLICATION: | Stir well with flat paddle before use. Ready for use with brush or roller. For spray application only – thin with Mineral Turpentine. Clean up with Mineral Turpentine or Trade Degreaser. |
